Mototherapy has a place in Wega’s heart

On Friday 4th November Wega had the honour of playing a part in a fantastic day of mototherapy organised by Da Boot with Vanni Oddera, Carlo Caresana and Alvaro Dal Farra, the ex-freestyle motocross champion who now manages team Da Boot and heads up a leading FMX school, not to mention judging at all the most prestigious competitions across the world.

Forty young people with disabilities were welcomed at the prestigious Ottobiano Motorsports centre which has just seen the completion of its newest track, Caresana MX Park, managed by Carlo Caresana, rider with the famous Da Boot team.

The Ottobiano centre, in Lombardy, Northern Italy, has been the shrine of motorsport lovers from Italy and abroad for fifteen years, offering a famous go-kart and supermoto track, a slick kart hire service, and tracks dedicated to motocross, quadbiking, off-road pit bikes and sidecar racing. Now it also features the Caresana MX Park, a track dedicated to motocross and freestyle.

This exceptional setting was the backdrop for an amateur motocross race and an event dedicated to the young visitors, who were excited to be part of such a crazy day!

“It’s great to see how their faces light up when they hear the roar of the engines,” comments Alvaro Dal Farra. “It’s a joy for us to give them a motorcycle show and to get them into the saddle to experience the thrill of speed. They are exceptional people who thoroughly deserve this kind of attention, and team Da Boot are proud to be able to give it to them! I’d also like to thank Wega for their continued support at our mototherapy days!”

Thank you to you, Alvaro, for such an amazing opportunity!
