On Friday 11th June the town of Ponte nelle Alpi, 50 miles north of Venice, hosted an exciting Mototherapy event courtesy of Alvaro Dal Farra and his team Da Boot, attended by 130 people with disabilities from the provinces of Belluno, Treviso and Pordenone. The uplifting and emotional day included a range of educational activities for children and young people, including an introduction to minicross organised by the local Gemona motoclub, mini quadbiking and slacklining.

The grand finale took place at 9pm when, in front of an audience of around 7000 people, nine professional international athletes demonstrated their skills in a superb two-hour show, much to the delight of the spectators. The show even included a whip contest and a best trick contest, won by two Kawasaki riders Jannik Anzola and Davide Rossi, the two new hopes of the Da Boot team who are supported and trained by Alvaro Dal Farra.

As always, Wega Macchine per Caffè brought an extra dimension to the event, offering all present the chance to enjoy the unique and unrivalled taste of authentic Italian espresso. From its position on a very unusual four-wheeled coffee corner, Wega’s Polaris machine worked non-stop throughout the day to meet the overwhelming demand, spreading smiles and creating relaxing moments for all to share.
