Wega’s IO machine graces the celebration at Caffè Agust

In celebration of its 60th birthday, Caffè Agust chose the new designer machine from Wega, the IO, to complement and enhance the flavour of its coffees and to welcome its guests with a cup of real Italian espresso.

On Sunday 15th May, the Cordoni family opened the doors of their roastery in Brescia to present the history of the company, from the early years when the coffee was delivered by bicycle to the international recognition the company enjoys today, as well as its operating methods and its three new single origin coffees.

The celebrations were a great success, and were attended by many guests and visitors. Among them was Wega, whose collaboration with Caffè Agust spans more than 20 years, based on a shared passion for quality, environmental sustainability and training specialist baristas.

Also present was Andrea Faggiana, winner of the Espresso Italiano Champion 2015 organised by Wega, who teaches at the Accademia Italiana Maestri del Caffè (Italian Academy of Coffee Masters) and has completed a number of courses run by Caffè Agust.
