The African coffee market is in a state of great effervescence and the three days of trade show at the African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition in Dar es Salaam has provided Wega with further proof of this.

The event enjoyed resounding success and drew a qualified and copious participation, with visitors from all over the world representing the various sectors of the coffee trade: growers, roasters and distributors, as well as coffee machine manufacturers. Besides which numerous conventions, seminars and workshops held by important international guests gave ample space to debates on the theme of research and innovation.

At the Wega stand, awarded the prize for best exhibiting space, the company’s “rock” personality, together with the team representing it, once again shone with reflected light: above all, the show was stolen by the illuminated sides of Polaris, the coffee machine that never ceases to amaze for the quality of the coffee it prepares, as well as for its innate refined appearance, a veritable cult object.

“The coffee culture is slowly but surely increasing even in African countries which, little by little, are turning from being growers and exporters into consumers as well” said Andrea Colombo, Wega’s Business Development Manager. “In the latter years, small roasters have established themselves, opening the first coffee shops, so it is safe to predict that new and very interesting market horizons could soon unfold.”
