Coffee according to Londoners at Caffè Culture

The Union Jack was waving over this trade fair: Caffè Culture was back at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London from May 15th to the 16th. This event is dedicated to professionals from the world of coffee and the ho.re.ca sector. As usual, one of the headlining exhibitors at the fair was Wega, whose range of products – lead by the top Wegaconcept and Sphera models – were on display at stand G12.

Wega (1)Confirming the strong focus on the domestic market, the fair attracted a crowd made up primarily of end-point clients from the London area.

“The Anglo Saxon market is only halfway mature, with growing possibilities in terms of quality,” reveals  Denis Vida, Export Area Manager (in photo). “Wega has been in the United Kingdom for more than 20 years, and can count on a well installed chain of dealerships. In line with a more general trend, the espresso coffee market is enjoying excellent health, with forecasts for growth even in the years to come. We keep returning to Caffè Culture year after year, although perhaps the format of the fair could be revamped to make it even more appealing.”

And finally, here’s a fun fact: in the British capital and its environs, cappuccino has made itself at home: apparently, though, it is no longer only visiting Italians who order traditional espresso coffee, since this beverage is slowly but surely becoming an increasingly popular order placed at local bars.
